I looked at your myspace page and a lot of people have been there, and you have "friends" that have bothered to link themselves up with your site, so... I think you're wrong about no one caring.

This one seemed to have a lot of different directions.... Do I ACCEPT my Asperger's? Absolutely. I even embrace it. It's WHO I am, after all... and knowing about it allows me to know myself better, which allows me to interact with others better. I KNOW they're different than I am, with the exception of a few close Aspie friends I've made. Funny thing was, they were my friends BEFORE we found out about Asperger's, and when we did... guess who all turned out to be Aspie's?

Do I think Aspie's are EVIL?? WTF? Some are... some of ANY population of people are.... but it's not because they're Aspie's or Autistic. Actually, take a GOOD look at the very best, character actor's in Hollywood, or in London. Look at some of they funniest comedian's.... see some familiar traits? You should. Some of them are on the spectrum and find it easier and more COMFORTABLE to be someone else, which is why they're sooooo effective as an actor. Some of them (as I did) learned to use humor as a defense. People who you make laugh don't hit you as often, and yeah, while I was BIG enough and STRONG enough, fighting back never made a great deal of sense. There were ALWAYS more of "them" than just "me". Now I'm working on making sure my teenaged son's understand their Asperger's condition, and how it's a strength and a weakness. Yes they will have challenges other's don't, but they also have gift's other's don't.

Do they feel? Absolutely, they both had made friends, they both are moving forward, learning to deal with the NT world. 'Cause that's what we ALL have to deal with folks, until the world comes around to OUR terms, anyway. I don't see that happening in my lifetime, but in my kid's lifetime?? Maybe... how many of us are programmers?? Or should I say, how many programmer's aren't Aspies??

I think I know what you, ipunes, mean by "conflict themselves". Sort of. There's that Annie movie with Albert Finney and Carol Burnett, see, and there were, in short, moments going on that I've enjoyed but can make someone I might meet and consider a girlfriend jealous. So, I sold it, got the album from a CD to my ipod. However, some songs there are a few lyrics short. So I depended on Amazon.com, though I usually consider stores first.
