I'm a decent driver, I guess. My dad says that I drive and park too far to the right, but that is really it. And that could do with teh fact that i have bad vision in my right eye.

I tend to hit curbs more than the average person, but aside from that I think I'm pretty normal. Only one at fault accident over the past decade.

I consider myself a good driver; the only blemish (albeit invisible) on my record was an accident I had in July '06, not to mention a few parking tickets while in college. Other than that, I have not been pulled over by the five-oh for speeding or any moving violations...

i voted NO... but i dont even drive, never will due to the neurodegenerative disease i have... my arms are going to be shot at some point, they already are extremely weak.. so driving is out of question... maybe a head array controlled car or airplane?

id rather fly an airplane though...

Like me? :D

That is awesome. I am personally somewhat into aviation myself. I have twelve hours logged on a Cessna 152, and plan on going back when school allows. I hate driving (you're not missing anything, Strapples) but I enjoy flying...go figure.

think such a modification as below can be integrated to control a cessna? has 4 DOF on control... only thing we would need to figure out how to control is the throttle and landing gear... but left right up and down could be controlled... (left side for left turn right side for right turn... go back on the headrest go go up and come off to decend

I do consider myself a good driver. People are not looking and use the cell phone.

Where are the police when you need them?

Wow...that's amazing. I've really never even heard about something like that, but that's a pretty major advancement (and it beats a yoke any day).

If it could be integrated in any plane, it would be a Cessna, they are known for being simple and reliable trainers with solid machinery. Cessna's have fixed landing gear, though I would like to brainstorm how throttle controls could be factored in.

Hehehe... i could see head controls like that going into a lot of things... it would be cool to see people without disabilities utilizing these interfaces too... indeed it allows much better precision over the control... if you have bad fine motor control in your hands you always have good control in your neck...

Aspies not good drivers? Bleh, totally wrong. I'm the first in my family to be diagnosed, or have any symptoms of, Aspergers, and I'm the first one who passed the driving test first time. The only problem is, I've fallen in love too much with driving, and I don't have the money to afford a car, so right now, I'm feeling a lot of pain, because all of my friends who have passed are given cars when they pass, so they're off straight away. Me? I have to earn it. I've got to get a job, and no place will accept me. I've got about a year and a half until I go to University (should've been half a year though), and I could really use with having a car by then. The way things are going, that isn't very likely at all. I'm more likely to be dead before I can afford a car.

I'm 18 and I'm a pretty good driver despite how scared my mom gets. The only time when my driving is impaired is when I'm tired, so remember to get plenty of rest.

I have over 8 years and over 1.2 million miles as a Commercial Driver without a moving violation, at fault accident, preventable accident, or equipment or hours of service violation.

For better than half of that time, I've driven almost all my miles in Los Angeles.

It's great for me, because I don't have to deal with people that much, or office backstabbers very often.

I didn't get my license untill I was 22 though, and it took me at least 200 hours of driving with my Grandpa to be ready to take the class c exam. All through school learning to drive a truck, I was at the back of the class on skills tests.

I'm not the best driver, but I'm one of the best at judging my own abilities.

My mother always seems to tense up when I'm behind the wheel. I don't know why. :P

I got my permit when i was about 16 and did pretty well during the classroom lessons. When it came down to the actual driving thats when everything turned to s**t. Driving with my mom was one thing because she was semi patient but my instructors were a different story. I remember with my first instructor i got soo pissed at him that i randomly pulled over, got out of the car and walked to a friends house. Another instructor i told her to get the f**k out of my driveway and go back to France.
Maybe in the future i'll try driving again but i have a serious problem with people telling me what to do or how to do them.
