Are you familiar with the story of Joseph, in the Bible. The coat of many colors?

there is a lesson from his story which also applies.

Basically, he was special. His brothers were jealous so they sold him into slavery.

As a slave he was faithful in his duties.

He caught the eye of the leader of the land. because of his faith in the small things. Taking pride in his circumstances.

Soon he worked his way up in society. remaining ever faithful to the task at hand.

Eventually, he became leader of the land. Second only to the king.

And during a time when most of the land was stricken by famine, his land did not fall victim. Because even as leader he did not lose faith in his elevated tasks. Paying attention to detail, and remaining faithful in his duties, his land and people were prepared.

One day, his brothers, starving from famine, came to ask the king for help. They had no idea that it was their brother, Joseph, who was to represent the king.

Joseph recognized them, of course. And in his customary style he acted with faith. He did not do to them what they had done to him. He welcomed them with humility, and with open arms.

The moral of the story is:

IF YOU ARE FAITHFUL WITH LITTLE, THEN YOU WILL BE FAITHFUL WITH MUCH.

Hey, can I do that?

I can. But how do you know I am not faking it? I tried to copy the little people, but I was unable to do it.
There is a moral lesson there somewhere.

Almost at the end of my second shift. The kitty is sleeping. A belt on my car is loose. (bird noises). I am wondering if it is not a sign that I should not go home for the holiday and instead stay home safe with the kitty.

I have to be back at work at 11pm. It is a little after 1:30 pm. I think that I will lose my place soon. Don't know if I can get it back today. We'll see if my recipe works.

This thread reminds me of the "You might be an aspie if..." ....you read this entire thread because you too have noticed the numbers on the side and wondered why and how we are all numbered and it really DOES matter to you that you find out the answer!

The fact that you would even think of that signifies your evil genius.

I, on the otherhand, am a humble servant of our lord (Alex)

I resemble that remark.
Oh, wait. Think of what? Copying the little people? But the little people are my friends...

How did you get them in different colors?
(looks more closely at the sidebar)
Um...never mind
Perhaps my next incarnation should be Veteran of the Little People...

Not sure I'd rather be king. I don't want to be in charge of anyone. It is enough to try to manage my life. Lord of the Little People? Lord of the Pirates? Hm. Peon doesn't cut it as a title. I guess I'll have to be lord of something.

Lord of the Android Pirates
Lord of the Dinner Plate?
Lord of the Guyvers?

guyver
guy·ver or gui·ver or gy·ver
noun
Definitions:
Australia affectation: an affected or unnatural way of speaking or behaving that is intended to impress other people or to gain somebody's favor ( informal )

who knew? i thought it was something good! i was thinking od macguyver. son of a guyver? although in a kind of indirect way, it makes sense. Lord of the guyvers does sound pretty cool. But I'll have to think about it some more.

Veteran Phoenix? that sounds good too.
Hmmm.
This will be harder than I thought.

Sit back, settle in, and relax.

I got your back.

We are currently deciding for you.

That way you won't have to stress, flip flop, ow whatever.

although it is a life sentence.

you gotta take the good with the bad.

Upon review and reflection, I like this post the best. It sums everything up!

And I think latitude 19 sounds good... currently lat 42 is pretty gross, I'm not pleased.

Latitude 19 is enjoyable only if you have lived at latitude 42.
I am less a fan of Lat 42 now that global warming has ruined winter. I have been to Lat 19 and loved it.
But I also loved Vancouver.
I do not think that I will achieve the #1 spot for my birthday. I am too tired to pursue it...

Remember,
The first shall be last, and the last shall be first in the kingdom of heaven.

And
The master is more dependant upon the slave then the slave upon the master. Who is really in control?

Does Wrong Planet have the same heaven as Earth?
Do the same rules apply?

Is St Peter NT?
If so, then I shall not be first, even if I am last on earth....

edit: do you think Vivi would date me if I were the last man on earth?????
