Another one - Green Beans with Onions in white Wine:

200 g Green Beans
1 medium sized onion
Some butter or olive oil
100 ml white wine
Thyme
Nutmeg
Black pepper

Wash the bean an cut the onion in small dices. Heat up the butter (or the oil) in a medium sized pot and and add the onion pieces. Add the white wine before they get brownish. Add the beans and the spices, mix up very well and leave on the smallest flame for 5 to 15 minutes.

Pizza. After finding out practically anything could be put on it. From eel and garlic through to adding sweet popcorn to complement ham and pineapple. I'm not broken :/

Mayonaise seems to have an addictive quality for me. I seldom buy it, however, because I will make a jar disapear in two days, and I don't like to have that much fat in my diet.

For the record, I ate rice & lentils for all three meals today.

Cherries! Or grapes or strawberries. Actually any small bite-sized fruit.

Instant sugar rush!

Spaghetti bolgnese. The sauce made with paprika, onions, tomatos, garlic and red wine. Simply gorgeous it is :)

Shrimp alfredo. I don't care what kind of noodles, but I need the shrimp and the alfredo sauce. It's the only main dish I ever order at restaurants, and if they don't have it, I'll order something similar like another seafood/pasta dish.

I LOVE pomegrantes! I don't know if I eat them right - because they are so messy and people freak out when I eat them. I pull off the seeds by the clumpful and chew and swallow the seeds. Actually, I haven't eaten one in front of anyone in years. Too gross. I imagine I look like a chupacabra disembowling a rodent.

You can tell its winter (in the no. hemisphere) when my counters are splattered and stained pink.

Chicken nuggets, and I eat peanut butter and jelly almost everyday for the past 10 years or something, never getting sick of it.

Sushi.

I would live on sushi if it were possible.

Try this one of a quick to make sauce - it takes something less time to make than it takes time to boil the noodles; for 4 persons:

300 g Minced beef
1 onion
Garlic
150 g Soured cream
Basil
Thyme
Red wine
Black pepper
100 g Concentrated tomato puree
Olive oil

Cut the onion and the garlic in small dices. Heat the some olive oil in a put and add the minced beef and the garlic. After few minutes (half time before the minced beef is roasted) add the onion. If the beef is ready add some red wine and the tomato puree. Mix it well through with the soured cream and the spices. Leave on the small flame for 3 to 5 minutes or till the noodles are ready.

Amen, when I was a child I would save up my pennies and nickles and every fall order 12 pomegranates (a half case, back then) from the Safeway produce guy. I would wait weeks until the dried up little guys got to Kansas back in the 50's. I don't even remember how I learned about them, but I was a maniac for them. I 'bloodied' book after book with juice (and learned to wipe up stains in mother's kitchen immediately with just a touch of BonAmi cleanser, or I would lose my pomegranate privileges!)
When I was older I got the idea of running the sink full of water and popping open the whole fruit under the water in the sink into a strainer/colander on the bottom. I would ease the beads away from the clusters and individual berries would fall into the sieve and I could pick out the bitter, bitter white rind. The drained berries I put in a Tupperware in water in the fridge and when chilled I strain out the water and pour them into a wine glass and 'sip' them from the glass. They also look famous and fabulous in the glasses and have had them in crystal for dinner parties and during the holidays, it is just gorgeous with a sprig of mint.

Of course, I have my "Pomegranate glass" and can prepare 5 or 8 big juicy "Poms" they have today at a time in my fridge in November, my birthday month, it's my passionate perseveration.

(and I am just glad to share my Pom chops with someone that admires Jayne's little girl, too. Wouldn't momma have been proud, though!)
