Interesting--
I scored 9.

However, I tried something, and got this:
If I answered as though EVERY action were "fairly normal", I got a score of 14.
If I answered as though EVERY action were "shocking", I got a 45.

So... it's worse to think something is "shocking" than to think it's normal?

I got a 19, and that test made no sense.

I got an 8. I'm not really sure what the difference is between the second and third choices were. They sound about the same to me. Nothing seemed shocking to me, but I put down a couple of the more extreme cases as shocking, because I thought that normal people would find them shocking. I really don't understand what this test is supposed to show.

I took the test again and this time read only the italicized parts (I could remember the stories) and thought about what other people might think, knowing what they know.

Score: 12

So two points less :D The only part I was unsure of was Roger's eating habits. Avoiding meat and salt could indicate heart or blood pressure problems, and if someone says they avoid meat and salt, you don't generally ask if they have medical problems but assume it's doctor's orders. Asking about lunch right after you enter the door is impolite, and that kind of punctuality without a given reason would probably be seen as eccentric.

I scored 11. This is not indicative for problems with social interpretation.

I scored 19, which "is indicative for problems with social interpretation."
I did not find the test confusing, at all. Especially the last questions were very similar to my own thoughts and actions. The first couple of questions were a little confusing, though.

So, um... what IS the right answer about taking a nap? I thought it was "rather strange" if he did it outside but I can't remember if I said it was "very eccentric" or "shocking" when he did it inside.

Well I was able to understand the test, and did it, and got a 5. :| A lot of that seemed like common sense...

Touching someone else's baby = shocking, and I wouldn't be surprised if the mother called the police because she thought he was kidnapping it
Sleeping behind someone's chair = very eccentric, I would think he was insane.

From reading this thread, it seems only vaguely predictive, at best.

I scored a 7, which said not indicative of problems.

Embarrassingly high.

I am very non-judgmental of "odd" behavior, so could this be why? Like, so what if you do something odd that doesn't actually affect anyone else? I mean, yeah, if you call someone a mean name or get into a physical fight with them, I don't like that.

I said fairly normal to the question about the stranger saying "Nice day, eh?" and to the question about the girl going in the for the "10 item or less".

I said that that the man checking the baby's diaper was shocking because it could upset the parent.

Like many, I answered how I would judge situation and find the test odd.

That seems correct.

I'm very judgemental.

I thought checking the diaper was shocking too. Not something I'd expect from a stranger. I think it's also normal to ask nice day eh because it's small talk lot of people do. Same as ten items or less but to me it's shocking because it says ten items or less and the lady has twelve and she is ignoring the sign. But the second time I took it, I answered it as normal since lot of people do it so I am sure everyone else would think it's normal than shocking.

This is indicative for problems with social interpretation. These results may not be mistaken for a sound and definitive diagnosis. That requires the judgment of a qualified diagnostic.
