But couldn't you look at it this way? Things have never been as good as they are now. With the advent of the Internet you can research info, educate yourself on a variety of subjects, and even work certain jobs without ever having to leave your computer.

What I was referring to in that statement was about peoples spirts being broken. It probably is the best time for a aspie now because of all the freely avalable information on the net. My problem with this is I really need some one to bounce ideas off of and I its easier with real people. So I guess with this part im my own worse enemy for being like that. Im not sure why other people don't research on the net. But I still know most of the time you need a slip of paper from a university to get a job doing some thing. More of this is to do with people sprits being broken and them giving up on doing what they want to. But finacal thing also stop people. It is much easier for alot of people to study when they are at uni and receiving some guidence at what areas to study.

Well SB2. I don't think this is going to make it to 100 replys.. What a waste of potential.
It might yet make a 100 replies don't give up yet.

Oh noes, I work voluntary at a charity shop!

Now my potential is wasted because I don't fit in the fully-capable Ph.D "quirky and eccentric" high-functioning stereotype!

:p

That's the second time you stated that today.

The only person seeming to look down on that is your satement in quotes above.

There is nothing wrong with what you do.

If You like what You do it should not matter what You truly do for a living then.

Working in charity is an honorable task, Peaguy. Congratulations, my friend. :D
