-they definitely tend to be more aloof and shy ( Oh yes)
-they tend to be more of the loner type ( I enjoy being alone but I'm not a loner )
-they tend to have high intelligence ( I think I have average intelligence but intelligence comes in very different types. Ex: you can be very book smart but very stupid when it comes to common sense.)
-they tend to be much more sensitive and emotional (Eh... pretty much anything will make me cry.)
-they tend to be much more creative and artistic ( Love muh art projects! :3)
-they tend to be more eccentric ( I am a little weird but who isn't? )
-they tend to have drier sense of humors ( Eh.. no. I can be funny when the time is appropriate but most of the time I'm a serious person)
So yeah, I'm left handed and that up there pretty much sums me up. I write, eat, and use scissors with my left and everything else I do right handed because I had to adapt in a right handed world. I don't have any form of ASD either, I'm just another left handed wierdo. ![]()

anyway, i always notice when someone is a lefty, usually if you eat or write lefthanded, your left handed, BUT NOT ALWAYS......most lefties will swing a golf club righthanded and swing a baseball bat righty, BUT NOT ALWAYS
In my case they found out early after birth that I could be a lefty, because I ALWAYS put my left finger in my mouth and I continued to do so. I do everything with my left hand, so I also brush my teeth with my left hand, play baseball with my left hand and so on. As a child I even switched fork and knive all the time while eating, so that I always used my left hand as the dominant one. Also my left foot is the dominant one. But most lefthanded ppl are mixed handed to some degree. 100% lefthandedness is very rare actually. 90% of all lefthanded ppl use their right hand to brush their teeth for example.
Lefthandedness goes along more often with autism (especially more common in classic autism) and also dyslexia. You'll find more highintellicent ppl are lefthanded BUT also more ppl with speciall need or below average IQ. So being lefthanded puts you more often in an extrem, you are more likely to be above average IQ OR below average IQ and less likely in the middle.
