Sims, as in The Sims? The video game? I absolutely LOVEDDDD The Sims when I was younger. I'd play it for hours. :P

My interests right now are as follows: weather, architecture, numbers/statistics, and learning about cities (histories of cities/populations of cities, etc).

I've been obsessed with a band for about 15 years, tho there were some years in there when I wasn't paying much attention to them. But I'm not obsessed with music in general.

I've been obsessed with names for as long as I can remember. One of my childhood memories involves the time when I was staying with an aunt while my mom was in the hospital having a baby. During that time, I was praying to God to please let it be a girl and not a boy. The reason I was so keen on it being a girl was 100% due to names. My parents had decided on a boy's name that I hated, and a girl's name that I was okay with. So I wanted it to be a girl. Not because I particularly wanted a sister, but because I didn't want a sibling with a name I didn't like!
When my aunt told me, "Guess what! You have a sister!" I was like, "Yay! Thank you, God!" :D

Happy 90th Birthday to Ray Harryhausen... I'm currently working on a stop motion animation film about snails. (Snails being one of my minor, current obsessions.) My lifelong interests have been movies/filmmaking & foreign cultures/languages.

Economics (particularly theory), Philosophy, and Pokemon are the biggest, although I have recently developed a new obsession with the show Grey's Anatomy. I also have an affinity for astronomy and theoretical physics, but I kind of suck at math so my physics knowledge can only go so far.

And I have gone way over the limit of the #1 interest I see. Oops.

JELLYFISH!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !

While jellyfish are by far my favorite and most specific special interest I also really like other marine life such as beluga whales, penguins, coral (a close relative of the jellyfish), and running water. I still really like to swim.

I'm that way with Octopus. I have a serious obsession with the animals. Some other marine animals, but not close to the degree of interest I have in octopus.
