I like the silence of snow, somehow it looks blue which is soft on my eyes. As for skiers, they are where I am not, so it's quieter here. And of course, the bugs are gone. Snow means peace and silence to me.

I think it would definately depend where I am at and how much snow it gets.

If I was in somewhere like Alaska or Colorado where there are more ways to enjoy winter (things like mountains that allow for skiing, snowsheoing, etc) I would probably love the snow, I definately did every time I went to the mountains in California.

But if I was somewhere in lets say the midwest where it is mostly a flat plain and prairie lands and there are less oppurtunities to enjoy winter and where the snow causes traffic jams and cities to shutdown I might have a different opinion on it.

If I was in the upper south or lower midwest where it mainly gets a dusting or a blanket of snow and the snow doesnt get in the way of anything that would actually be kind of cool, I would prefer to the no snow at all in Southern California which is where I live as of this post.

I used to HATE snow. I think I had a phobia of it, which was triggered by some people laughing at me out loud in the street when I nearly slipped over on an unavoidable patch of ice. I already had social anxiety.
After that, for about 5 years, I had a serious disliking to snow. I was scared to go out in it but I had to because my job was in walking distance so I had no excuse to be off work on a snowy day.
I literally had meltdowns when it snowed; I'd scream and cry in sheer panic. And exposing myself to the snow did not lessen the fear. I did go out in it, I even once built a snowman with my cousin, and went for long walks in it with my mum. But it didn't "cure" the phobia. If it started snowing again the next day I was back to melting down again (no pun intended).

But it was just a phase and the only "cure" was time. I outgrew it. I still am not keen on snow, it is my least favourite weather, but I've managed to deal with it. I think buying ice-grippers that go on the bottom of your shoes helped me overcome the phobia too. I do worry about the travel disruption and other people driving in it.

I prefer rain, because we're all so used to rain so even if roads get flooded it still doesn't seem to disrupt traffic.

I was an agoraphobic child and teenager in general for different reasons, schizoidism -

but no - I always enjoyed my winter and summer adventures on my lonesome. I have (positive) Season Affective Disorder (as reference) alongside autism. I really spiritually experience the different weather's in my own way.

I don't hate snow the substance, but I'm always irritated when I hear it's going to snow because it's disruptive and people will start going on at me to come out and do things in the snow while it lasts when there's other things I've planned or would rather be doing.

I like the look of it when its freshly fallen but I get annoyed that people have to walk all through it, pile it up and make it look messy. Then when it melts (which it tends to within hours of falling where I live) the muddiness and slush is depressing to me.

I actually quite enjoy sledging and stuff once I get out, but I'm always annoyed at having to go out and do it. I went snowboarding once and liked that a lot.

Snow is great to look at—but a pain in the ass in at least some ways.

I love snow. It is so beautiful and delicate. I love walking in it. I have been told I have a childlike wonder about snow. I don't like it whan the slush freezes but fresh, it is one of my favourite things

I miss snow-shoeing through the Michigan forests during heavy snowfalls.  The air was clean, and I felt completely at peace and at one with nature until the FREAKING SNOWMOBILERS SHOWED UP AND TORE UP THE LANSCAPE AND POLUTED THE AIR WITH THEIR NOXIOUS GAS-POWERED HELL-MACHINES!!

No.

I hate ice.

I've not been well lately & snow makes me feel better somehow. I think it's moving my physical feelings into something non-painful that does it: the coldness of the snow.

Around here, lots of people use snowmobiles for fun, but they still insist on using jacked-up 4wds for their commuting. I hear them around town a lot.
Sometimes, snow drifts can be incredibly beautiful.
When I was young, I couldn't stand getting any snow inside my boots, and would always stop to get it out. Now, I don't mind a bit, if I won't be out long.

I do not like the cold.

And I've never seen real snow my whole life. :o I'd imagined it to be fun, yet troublesome and possibly lethal.

Snow comes in many distinct varieties. I recently hurt my back shovelling snow that was wetter and heavier than usual here. Sometimes, cold, dry snow is blowing across open fields like a very opaque fog that is only knee-high. Driving, I see nothing but white below the horizon, until the road begins to appear about 2 dashed lines ahead. This does not make it slippery.
When it gets really cold, I walk faster to keep warm, but I don't have to worry about slipping because traction becomes quite adequate. When I walk during a thaw, I get very tense from being ready for a slip.
