1) a perfectionist in many domains of my life
2) one of the most unique people you will ever come across
3) inquisitive and forever questioning everything
4) verbose
5) passionate about creating change in services for adults on the spectrum
6) "very well-spoken" according to a parent of a guy on the spectrum I met tonight
7) a helper and a healer
often insecure with myself and my social relationships
9) high in both "feeling" and "thinking" domains, according to my shrink
10) a vegetarian and a compassionate animal lover
11) an explorer of the mind
12) a bleeding-heart liberal
13) completely different than I was as a child
14) creative
15) forever feeling "out of place"
16) an escapist
17) an abstract thinker, even since childhood
18) someone who craves deep, meaningful friendships and hates small talk
19) a foodie
20) an introvert who often acts like an extrovert

1) I am me.

This is all I've got. I identify myself via my constant experience of existing. I don't think of my emotions, thoughts, preferences or behaviors as my "identity", because those kinds of things can change. I'm still me even if those things change.

I don't know who I am as I'm still going through the process of redefining myself.

6. I am a humanistic, civil-minded misanthrope.
7. I am multiple contradictions confounded on one another.

11. I am the mentally disturbed child for whom no assistance can be given.
12. I am the subject of many whispers and stares.
13. I am the overbearingly open and honest one that nobody really knows anything about.
14. I am a chronically depressed optimist.
15. I am a scientist of the humanities.
16. I am a thinker, perhaps even an innovator.
17. I am a dreamer.
18. I do not really know who I am anymore.
19. I am both losing grip and gaining ground;
20. I am trying.

1) I am fire- intense and all consuming. I become what interest me- whatever it may be.

4) I am abandoned always. An orphan of this world with no tribe. I do not think there is anyone like me.

13) a confused "mother"- I feel more like her guardian and guide- I understand my ASD non verbal daughter.

Hmm. Not sure I understand it right. But I might try.
