Do babies gross you out?

I was uncomfortable around babies until I had my own. There are 7 pages here, but I don't think there are any actual parents who don't like babies.

Hi Mr Vulcan,

I'm not being sarcastic here but the next time you go out take some notice of what is happening in the world around you. Have a look at people with their kids and see if you think you would like any of them as parents. Not that I am a worlds expert on people that should and should not have children but it can be very obvious that many,many,many parents that do not like children (for whatever reason) still end up with them. I can categorically state that my own father was one of them.

About the weighing thing. I didn't (for obvious reasons) have a "reliable" adult set of scales in the house, at the time, to do what you suggested. Let alone ones that are precise enough to measure the weight increases or lack ther of, in a newborn.

I totally agree!! ! Babies are so cute my heart melts. On the other hand, "Toddlers" can be really nasty. Loud, selfish, greedy, irritating little monsters that destroy everything in their path. And many of them never grow out of this phase.

Those offended by babies must never have had any of their own - the best feeliing ever, is holding your own baby. Mine are now grown, but holding them as babies is the most overwhelming happiness I've ever known.

Research has proven that the most repulsive creature on the planet is (and there are posts here to back this up) the human teenager. :lol:
