Ok, I got a couple of pics of me as a kid onto my PC, but I don't know how to upload them here, and I really want to! Can one of you whizz kids tell me how?
Thanks,

You can see my eyes a lot better in these two photo's. Its hard for me to find good quality photos of me as a kid, cos they were mostly taken on old disposable camera's. You thoughts on these? lol.

I was looking through this thread again and I really like your eyes, SonicTommy. The picture with you in a blue shirt with rosy cheeks is really cute. I like eyes that are deep colours , deep blue, green or brown that looks black , rather than pale or grey and I like long almond shaped eyes or very large, wide eyes.

Thank you :) *blushes*

Btw, none of your photos showed up properly. They just appear as white boxes that say "phptobucket" in them?

You have to upload them to a server. Most pictures in this thread are hosted at photobucket.com. Sign up (create an account) and upload your pictures that you want to make public. Then copy the direct links of the pictures one at a time (it's easy and straightforward), paste here using the icon depicting a mountain with the sun when writing your post on WP.

Most of them should be there now if you look at page 5 and 6. Some don't show up, I don't know why.

What do you think? Is it the "aspie look"?

((It's probably worth mentioning that I'm not yet sure if I'm an aspie myself... I mean, I seem to match up with a lot of the symptoms and associated traits, but I'm still caring a level of uncertainty about it.))

I don't really know... I mean, I seem wide eyed in most pictures (except a few that were taken outside, those have horribly squinted eyes) but I've never noticed that before this thread got me looking through old photographs.

I saw a few other people in this thread talking about other aspects of their facial expression in photos as well- in most of my at home photos until I was about 10 I'm frowning but there's not a single professionally done photo of me like this. I know from stories that my parents had to go through great lengths to get me to smile for the camera when I was really little, though. Once "smile for the camera" finally stuck in my head, though, I didn't have a problem doing so.

When I look at pictures of myself as a child and teen, my eyes look like they are starring far off somewhere and are not looking at the camera. This is so even in some photos where I am actually making "eye contact" with the camera. It still looks like I am looking somewhere else, like I am looking through the camera.

Is this how your eyes look in childhood photos?

Yeah, lots of times they still look that way in photos.

My mom shared with me today another photo. It’s me with my dad + older brother (both who were looking straight into the camera and smiling). I wonder what I was looking at.

I am so glad for this thread.

My son never looks at the camera, even when the flash well... flashes ! He is also looking to the side or somewhere in space. Don't have a single pic of him - even as a 6-month-old - looking at the camera :(

But he is a little cutie, regardless, and very photogenic ! ! :)

The flash might hurt his eyes, just thinking.

I kinda stared off into space and didn't really smile, kind of like now.
