There's performing it as a work and a process as a means to developmentally progress.
And then there's as a means of an end goal, and just all about the end goal, whatever it is you're convinced of as 'success'.
Have you find out which is likely to happen yet?
If you do enjoy the act of it, whether you fail or not, no one is going to stop you.
In fact, that's quite an upside if acting is your thing, and improving from failures as a means to lean towards a growth mindset.
And if your source of despair is failing the some sort of end goal by being hung up on whatever end goal?
I dunno, then practice more? Git gud?
Just don't burn yourself regardless.
Sigh...
No different than one of the countless frustrated young men in this era, who cannot seem to get whatever they're convinced of what want.
They can put a blame on anything, really -- women who won't date or have sex with them, capitalism, their looks, 'being
autistic socially awkward', politics, whatever conspiracy...
Then there's the 'lonely types' who just wish to be 'more human' or believe in the biological imperative to reproduce or whatever BS justification they kept telling that
all humans are social animals and no exceptions exists except freaks and sour grapes.

NTs can relate to you for not getting most of what you want, actually.
Usually men of your age, your generation.

They just don't show themselves off like the so-called "successful" NTs you kept perceiving as if that's the actual 'norm' (when it's not).
