help us develop a scientific scale to assist the diagnosis
Except RDOS, he has years ago.

In criticising each other, both sides are correct. Ideally, one would have hundreds of aspies in every study. Ideally, one would have diagnoses, medical/psych records, IQ test scores, and so forth, for every subject, and review all of them carefully. Because doing both would be prohibitively expensive, all studies fail to do one or the other. One can call a study of 20 aspies a joke, or one can say that a study is a joke if it claims to have 300 aspies, but cannot prove that it even has 20. Personally, I look at every study, regardless of methodology, and learn what I can from it. It may be flawed, but it's probably better than no research at all. And when lots of imperfect studies agree, you may be onto something.

EDRITVO before you get discourage here you need to understand the realities of all internet forums. On most all internet forums there are a high percentage of sociopaths, a$$holes, antisocial personality
disorder, borderline personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorders, liars, flakes, racist, neo-nazi's, homophobic, sexual predators, rapists, child molesters, trolls, spammers, trouble makers, attention seeking nuts, tin foil hat wearing, conspiracy theory nuts, bullies, etc. But there are some people here you would characterise as nice people to.

Amen. Very well said.

Except for one thing, it would be pefectly possible for anybody using the rigorous diagnoses method to actually validate the validity of Aspie-quiz, and when this is done, they could use it (for free basically) to create large studies.
Also, in Aspie-quiz, a majority of participants are not diagnosed Aspies. At most 10% are diagnosed Aspies.
Another problem of the small studies is that the control group usually isn't representative of people in general. It is commonly psychology-students or other groups with a biased personality-profile.
