Oh, how could I forget faceblindness! Though I took a test that said I had it, I don't think I do. I was nervous at the time of the test and couldn't concentrate well. I'm probably slightly below average, maybe in the 40th percentile.

Like a lot of others seem to have said, I lack the rigidity (I feel like I am a bit rigid but don't appear that way) and superior intelligence. I haven't actually had an IQ test so there's no proof that I don't have a very high IQ, but I feel like (and have been told) that it's average.

I understand humor and sarcasm

I am extremely unobservant, I hardly ever notice details in anything

I do not have a monotone voice

I would not say that I'm overly sensitive to sounds and definitely not smells

I have only been depressed once in my life, and that wasn't for long or very serious, it was because I was under a lot of stress from school

I do not have anxiety, but oddly both my mom and sister do.

I think that's all.

I don't go crazy when my schedule is changed, although larger changes do irk me somewhat.

I do have friends. There aren't many, but I have them, and 60% of them aren't aspies.

I can let my food touch other food.

I am the geeky computers/math/engineering type, though...

I'm sensitive to touch, but not in a negative way. I love love love being touched. I'm extremely ticklish and just the though of someone running their fingers on my skin makes me feel all tingly.. but also relaxed. Still extremely started by sudden noises though, and bright lights bother me.

Messing up my schedule doesnt bother me; I yearn for spontaneity.

And I've never had a problem with appearing "cold" or being told I "just can't feel" and such. I'm very expressive, but it's ALL in my face and body language. My high school drama teacher told me I would make a great mime  hi captain obvious!! ! I don't feel embarassed that I rarely speak, my face says it all anyway.

I've seen a couple people here say it's difficult for them to interact with small children while for me it's just the opposite! If you had to stick me alone in a room with ANYONE, I would undoubtedly choose a little kid.

I have a slightly-more-advanced knowledge of computers but for the most part, nature and wildlife are my "obsessions"

I'm fine with crowds, provided I'm within an area I know. In fact, I rather like the anonymity they provide.

I did pretty well in science and maths at school, though I'm not particulary invested in either of them. Maths I don't really care for at all and science I mostly enjoy as an outsider. I adored the class discussions that occurred in my other subjects though (those being Geography, English, Visual Arts and Ancient History).

I was fairly average at sports, or atleast not unusually poor at them.

I'm not all that picky about foods, though I prefer ones that I am familiar with. I dislike trying new foods mainly because there is the possibility that I won't like it, and therefore the food will be wasted. Especially if it's a meal I've bought, then I may have wasted money on it as well.

I often have multiple interests that I can talk about, which is fairly useful in converstions. Though overall my social skills are rather lacking.

I don't have any particular aversions to lights or sounds. Aside from my aversion to silence, I suppose. I do occasionally have issues with smells though.

Also? Female aspie. 8)

I'm not good at math
I don't possess any savant skills
I have a vivid and active imagination
I am very good at utilizing language (well, written language anyway)
My special interests revolve around fictional fantasy works and not fact-based things like planes, trains or automobiles
I am able to make eye contact with people for short amounts of time (though I couldn't when I was younger)
I am able to read some facial expressions and tones of voice (though I couldn't when I was younger)
I understand figures of speech and sarcasm
I have a sense of humor (though I don't really like "teasing" humor when it's directed at me)

I hate numbers and dates, as they mean nothing to me.
I have a good imagination.
I have a sense of humor, which is rather ironic, although a lot of people don't get it when I make a joke. It might be because of my (lack of) facial expression though.

I don't have any of those, except anxiety, either.

I am not literal. And I have no problems with understanding or expressing sarcasm.

I'm not given to interpreting things literally.
I'm capable of appreciating humour and sarcasm.
I'm generally talkative and quite gregarious.
My imagination is not limited, but overactive.
My prosody, body language, eye contact, and facial expressions are normal.
I'm able to explore subjects other than my primary interest(s).
I'm not a fussy eater.
I can sense how people are feeling.
I'm not a bloke.
I'm not a gamer.
I'm not a Trekkie or Dr. Who enthusiast.
Matters technical and mechanical leave me cold.
Matters arty-farty make me smile.
I have never been a Thomas the Tank Engine fan.

I do tend to indulge in pacing, pedantry, and timetable collecting, but nobody's perfect. :P
