I scored INTJ on the Meyer Briggs Type Test. I found out by further searching that this type correlates to Asperber's Syndrome.

I further found out that Ayn Rand was an INTJ. Hmmmmm...

Just because someone is an INTJ it does not make them an aspie.

I'm an INTP myself which a lot of other aspies are as well it seems.

Ruveyn, Ayn Rand certainly was a mastermind.
Just reading her books made me think she was some sort of godhead.

Far from it. She influenced a great many people but she spread some false and ignorant ideas about physics and mathematics. Also her grasp of basic biology left a great deal to be desired.

I'm also INTP. Usually test as J though for some reason. As far as INTJ and AS match up, I think sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't--my best friend is an INTJ and I don't think she has any AS traits besides liking being alone, my aunt is an INTJ and I don't think she would understand it at all much less identify with it, and my dad is an INTJ and I'm pretty sure he has AS. I'm surrounded by them, I know! :) Also know an ENTP that has it and he's the complete opposite of what I would expect for someone with AS--very loud and outgoing.
I do think it probably correlates with the two INT types more so than others, though.

I always test on the extreme end of INTP, especially the I, N, and P parts. I love to analyze and theorize but I'm not much of a reader because I get bored too easily with books. I like to come up with my own theories on everything. I'm not interested in facts unless I know why.

There are extraverts who have AS, too. While I don't know that I would necessarily be more extraverted than introverted, I definitely have a very strong extraverted side when I am around good friends. Introverts generally don't enjoy inviting 30+ friends at once over to their house... :)

My score is a close call between an INFP and an ISFP

I have made a conclusion that asperger's and personality types are generally not correlated.
However, there are more introverts with AS than extroverts, but there are quite a few extroverts who have AS nevertheless. I know one in real life.

From that poll http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt67764.html it looks like there is a correlation with INTJ and Asperger's/HFA.

Something to consider, although you can't prove, you can say given the evidence something is the best explanation. If sources outside of WP say there's a correlation, then it's probably the best explanation given the evidence so far, even if it can change later down the road. The WP poll shows that INTJ is the most strongly associated personality type, although other ones are there too, so it's not a perfect correlation.

Also INTJ. For another label: I'm a 4 with a very strong 5-wing in the Enneagram system. (But I bet the enneagram personality types correlate even less well than the Meyers Briggs.)

I'm INTJ and not on the Spectrum, although my son is.
