That's lovely. I am still in touch on a monthly basis with my first aspie student. I started teaching him when he was eleven until he graduated university. We went through so much together and have a very close bond. I only managed to survive the first month because I really needed the money, it took us a while to understand each other. He was my first contact with autism and his tenacity and courage captured my heart.
