Do you ever mix up what you have said and what you were planning to say? If texting or emailing someone, I usually put a lot of thought into my replies and what I'm going to say next. I practice the conversation in my head many times and will sometimes sleep on it before replying. Sometimes I rehearse my reply so much and it becomes so familiar to me that I often forget whether or not the reply was actually sent or not. I have been known to email people twice with the same reply or just forget to get back to them altogether, thinking I'd answered them already.

When I reply to texts or e-mails I spend a great deal of time thinking, but I don't sleep on it. But sometimes I do forget I reply so I have to ask people if I did or not.

And that is why e-mail accounts on this machine are set to save everything sent!
Can go look and see before sending.

I put a lot of time into replying to e-mails too. I'll also sleep on it if it's complicated and I don't feel like dealing with it right away. Sometimes I forget, it's not uncommon. Also, sometimes people will ask me why I took so long to respond.

Interesting. I keep my email very short and simple. That's just my preferred way of using email. Then again, I've been emailing for almost 20 years, so perhaps I come from a different generation of email users.

It is very hard for me to keep track of conversations, even one conversation. I would forget I said something and argue that I said something or didn't say something. My wife says I would make a horriable wittness. I also take a very long time to reply to emails, proof reading 5-10 times.

No, this never happens to me. My memory concerning conversations is very accurate.
