I also love libraries--they are one of my favorite hangouts. I could live in a library.
I'm a lifelong bookfiend, it makes me so happy to come home w/an armload of stuff I'm enthusiastic about. My family members are ALL "bookpeople", so it never occurred to me that other people were quite the opposite. Must admit that I learn much in theory, but have little real-world practice-but that's not caused by my interest in books, it's my discomfort w/the world "out there". One of the few places I can tolerate (even enjoy, at times) being in public for a couple hours is a bookstore (or library, depending on conditions)-it's like a kid in a candy store.
Wish I had lots more shelfspace for my oodles of books, live in teensy little apt. Also, wish I knew people (w/similar enough taste in material) who'd want to trade books since I've no one to pass on my books to & no one to suggest new ones to me.
