Im getting very VERY irritated at my parents, need help

They are playing music. AT 11:00 AT BLOODY NIGHT

Ok. We are supposed to be getting up early in the morning. I am trying to sleep. Its irritating me because they are playing corny country music. Ive asked them to quiten down but they wont. ITS DRIVING ME TO MELTDOWN POINT

I have no ear plugs sadly.

How can I stop them :(

I was going to suggest calling the cops until I reread the topic and saw you were talking about your parents.

Then again, maybe you should call the cops. If they're being way too loud they might think it was a neighbor. :wink:

Ask them to turn it down and close your bedroom door.
They have the right to play music and yes I understand how annoying it is when you are trying to sleep, but it's not going to be for every night and I'm sure that they will go to bed eventually.

Heh.. reminds me of this story my parents tell about how we were on vacation one time when I was a kid, and somebody else was playing music late at night.. and my dad was kinda enjoying it, but I was getting all angry and saying "don't they know there are people trying to sleep?!".. they thought it was kinda backward.

Ask for a pair of ear plugs maybe?

Oh yeah I wouldn't have thought of that, but come to think it is possible.

How old are you? They are your parents! They know damn well that music bothers you! Plus you told them to keep it down. And yet they continue playing music at 11 PM on a night when you have to get up early?

C'mon.

I'm also very irritated with my parents.I think they're too young too young to be a parent of a 14-year old girl (my mom is 33 and my dad is 35 & separated)

It was their fault!They made me out of LUST...(I don't really care though,I love myself)


....but anyways,I'm happy cuz I don't leave with them

@topic:why don't you "blackmail" them?It works sometimes especially if you're parents are hiding something :P
