I tend to get things too personally. I tend to get anoyed by what others say to me - a lot.
Even if theoretically I know it does not worth it, I cannot help myself getting mad.
And I cannot react calm, I feel I want to grab their neck and yell "PAAAINNN, PAAAINNN" - I saw this thing in a movie, really funny :D

Is this an AS trait? Why cannot I just let it go? Even if I know it was meant to hurt me, it's just a thing that was said, not the end of the world!!

This is not an AS trait, this is a common human trait. Every human being on the planet goes through this stage, usually in adolescence. It's holding onto this trait past, say, 60 that would be abnormal.

Hey :D 15 years to go

Well I hope not, but probably so, due to the fact I have always been that way.
I have learned quite a bit over the years, but I also learned that fire is hot very young.
Needless to say, that does not stop me from getting burnt, just a bit more cautious.
I don't generally show that things get under my skin, as this is the enemies goal.
This lesson was picked up very early also, there again, I ain't perfect yet.
But in general, when things do get to me, I think things through.
Sometimes I think things directly at the person like,
"I wonder if he realizes what's really happening"
or "man I was just like that once"
mostly things of gratitude,
this seems to help.
But as far taking things entirely too personal, this can happen as well, if the mood is already half way there, it doesn't take much enticing to have Mr paranoia whispering sweet nothings.
