Vision jumps up and down while running
I read in another thread on here that people's brains are meant to adjust when they run so that their vision doesn't jolt about.
I think I might be putting the wrong key words into google because it keeps bringing up running clubs and blurred vision after running. Does anyone know what this is called and where I could find more information on it.
I didn't want to hijack the thread because I don't have the other problems the person described.
My wife says her vision doesn't jolt up and down when she runs but suggested the problem might be my very odd running technique.
I failed the heel-to-toe walk as a child but passed perfectly as a teen. This was tested because I have hearing loss. I have no known syndrome which affects both hearing and balance, and despite genetic testing the cause of my hearing loss remains unclear but probably inherited based on family history.
When I run, objects close to me seem to bob up and down a little. Objects further away do not. I have never considered whether this is normal or not, but I suspect that it is. If your experience is that things jump about so much that you feel dizzy, nauseous, or otherwise unable to continue the activity, then I think that would be abnormal.
