What hobbies do you have?

I have absolutely no hobbies and I think I need one. All I do is sit on my computer going on websites.

That is a hobby.


One of my favorite hobbies (but not the only one) is schadenfreude.

I collect the disasters that befall my enemies.

Reptile-keeping, playing video games, browsing the internet, watching TV, sleeping, eating, and staring blankly at random objects

I am interested in urban legends and videogames.


Remember the Montauk Monster? It was stolen.

I was goign to suggest exactly that fo r a hobby. Other h obbies of mine are reading and writing.

Reading books, writing (posts XD), knitting occasionally, cleaning the house, walking, music.

I have no hobbies, that’s too lightweight.

Everything I am interested in or create is a major production, to be taken very seriously.

Multimedia, computer games, the Macintosh, design (profession), fractals, 12-16th century music, ethnic music, eclectic music such as Tangerine Dream and Jan Garbarek. Choral music and creating 3D landscapes using fractal textures. Middle Eastern history and so on.

I like spacing out using visualiser types of fractal VJ software. (LSD for Aspies!)

I would say crafts, but my eyes are not good enough for the tiny stuff I used to do in the past: knitting complex challenging patterns, celtic embroidery, cross stitch, crochet and very fine drawing of surrealistic landscapes and painting Vasarely like designs.

Computers are my main hobby, especially old computers. Fiddling with them and changing stuff, a bit of programming, have designed and built a few of my own using '80s CPUs. My bedroom is full of computer stuff I've collected (mostly from eBay). As is the garage, but most of that is technically my Dad's and we've had it for years. And downstairs is a Sun E4500, a huge beast which has 12 processors and should be lifted on a pallet. My latest acquisition is a Toshiba Libretto 100CT, which is a netbook from long before they were called netbooks.

Also interested in some of the usual stuff like listening to music and watching TV.

Chess, playing trombone, video games, biking, wasting time on the computer, especially if it involves Linux. I also read a lot.

Try juggling. Will take a few hours/ days to get 3 balls down to a decent standard and then you can start learning tricks and move on to learning 4 balls (5 balls takes a while). Also great to improve your reflexes and awareness.
