X-files Geek, as an imaginary neurologist who just diagnosed "Little Miss Daydreamer" with Extreme Brain Syndrome I must credit you with establishing this as a disorder in a previous thread -one about NVLD. I believe you defined it as either having very splintered IQ sub-scores, or an IQ way below or way above average causing difficulty getting along in this society. Credit where credit is due.

I'm a [imaginary] Neurologist and this is my diagnosis:
Patient: Engineer, Nutty
Type of neurological configuration: Possible Asperger's syndrome
Additional issues: Severe dyspraxia, amblyopia, does not play well with others
Complaints: Meh, who's complaining?
Severity: Depends...
Unusual strengths: 1. Can remember long strings of numbers 2. Can play songs by ear on the piano 3. Can manage to make computers malfunction in new and creative ways
Significant malfunctioning or impairment areas: Using scissors, dealing with stupid people, and perhaps holding a conversation that consists of more than grunts and one word answers
Medicine prescribed: None
Treatment suggested: Marooning on a desert island with a volleyball named Wilson
Duration of treatment: Life

Patient: Mr. Jetbuilder

Type of Neurological Configuration: suspected asperger's and ADD

Other noted issues: incomplete paraplegia, congenital spinal stenosis, amputee.

Complaints: many, but rarely tells anyone.

Severity: varies greatly depending on situation.

Strengths: Is usually the only one working when other coworkers are standing around talking to each other. can tell you anything you wanna know about telescopes, RC cars or disability. Not interested in having a girlfriend.

Weaknesses: small talk, eye contact, very uncomfortable around groups of people, bad at socializing in any context that doesn't include one of his interests. Not interested in having a girlfriend.

Treatment suggested: What ever works

Duration of Treatment: until the universe rips itself apart.

At least I know the "treatment duration" will last no mater how long I live. :lol:
