Am I the only one with that? Maybe "exhausted" is too strong a word for what it's about. When I watch some sitcoms, sometimes I lose a bit of my concentration after 20 minutes and it's becoming less natural to laugh. I rarely watch a Miyazaki movie in one shot (except for the first time...), the emotionnal and aestetic experience tire me and after less that one hour I lose of my concentration.
I like good sitcoms and I love Miyazaki movies nonethless, and really I do appreciate those emotionnal experiences. I guess it's normal to be tired after a while of thoses. But I don't think it's normal to be tired that fast.
Anyone else got that?
From what will it coming from?

You're not the only one.
Be they good or bad, they do that to me.
Not sure what the causes would be if only Aspergers, as I have Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia in the mix too.

Seems anything from a trip to the general Physician's office to buying that train I'd always wanted can do that.

I don't like to watch movies that are too intense. If I do watch a tear jerker then I have to be in the right mood for it. I don't watch movies anymore. Last night I tried to watch the Watchmen and it was so violent that I had to turn it off. It made me feel ill and depressed.

Movies overwhelm me emotionally. The execution of Order 66 from Star Wars Episode III moved me.

I don't talk about being "overhelmed", in fact I rather "enjoy" the emotional moments (Yes, even things that moved me, like Order 66). What I'm talking about is being "exhausted" quickly by some emotional experiences, even though I enjoy them.
