Hey all.

Tomorrow night, I'm going to a place nearby, to talk in a focus group between the National Autistic Society (UK) and the Goverment about support for adult aspergerics and autistics.

I was wondering if anyone here had any ideas?

Prepare in advance for the speech. Don't try to memorize it verbatim, but instead memorize your main points and their order. Don't make eye contact with any particular individual, but let your gaze wander across the crowd broadly. Relax, breathe, intentionally speak slowly because you will tend to speak quickly in order to "get through it".

Rehearse your speech/talk in advance either alone with a clock or with someone willing to listen.
