It's cause the kitty compelled you.

I've had this happen to me. I went for most of my early life with math being my one obsession (though I had a few other crop up, I rarely thought about them as much as math, and I always returned to it), but recently new obsessions came about:

Cars (did not last long and was mostly Japanese cars) - Learning about different cars, parts, specs, racing (no, not like Nascar), etc.
Drawing - Has faded from obsession, but I still love doing it, and I still do it when I have the opportunity
Law/politics - Is still a special interest with me
Religion - Since I settled on my beliefs, it's faded considerably, but it still crops up (especially with regards to angelology) on occasion

Mine has been writing since 12 that one came really quick round just like that, also computers have been my core interest since 8 now i'm 21, animals til 16-17 trains from birth til 16 still love them though. teddies til 15 I just loved collecting plush animals kind of co insiided with my aimmals interest now overnight its model planes oh and mmorpgs and rpgs since 2002 and video games since I was 5 and that is all I talk about I have always had a science fasination though since 6 from now on

so my interests are really small about 5 or 6 altogether since I was born

My interests come and go like that, too. Sometimes they come in cycles, too. I'll do one thing constantly, live and breathe it, then drop it for months at a time.

Right now, I'm pondering the instructions I found on-line for making zoetropes. I could easily get very, very into these things.

Regards,

Patricia

Sometimes I feel (like right now) in search of a new thing. When I actually find it I'll know.

I use to draw when I was younger, but I kind of grew out of it after my junior year of high school. I don't know, I just lost interest. Right now, I am trying to find interests in things I kind of like.

Comic Books (I always like comic book movies, but have never read the original comic books).
Politics (I am starting to have interest in how the system works.

oh zel hate you graham bars are awesome in the UK they are banned and you have to ship them, politics I love as I think do most aspies, to be honest politics is the only way I can understand the world as long with cannon movies and tv series like Skins, buffy DOCTOR WHO catherine tate the ginger temptress, Catherine Tate, Catherine Tate and oh Catherine Tate

lesson from interests Catherine Tate is awesome and needs to rule the world, my current new interest is model planes I built a supermarine spitfire Mk 1 and it turned out ok considering I am significantly Visually impaired and dysphraxic lol, now I am starting a BAe Harrier GR5 and after that a fairy Rotodyne, I saw a concorde one and was promised I think by my step father that we will go to the open air muessum about 50 miles away. I also learnt that Harrier Jumpjet have the most unreliable hovering system ever
