Adult with diagnosed in 1990's with ADHD but now fear I might have always had high functioning autism with possible ADHD and having issues ifning out info on it in an adult online and with local agency's and with my insurance. Also I have a 4 yr old whom I am trying to get evaluated at the local school district and they said they should be able to help me out with hopefully finding out what she has.

Just ask questions I will answer when online.

I don't know what all I should say, so this is my start.

If you recognize autistic traits in yourself, get evaluated. The Autism Society of America has a database of adult autism specialists. They're rare, so you may have to travel a bit.

You might want to introduce yourself either here or in the Getting To Know You forum. Tell us why you are here, maybe why you think you have AS / autism, and maybe what you hope to get out of Wrong Planet?

My friend is on here and told me to try out here and post my question. Seeing as he has been on here since before my kiddo was born, I took his advice sorry if my intro in my profile was not enough it did not tell me where to post first so I went for this section seeing as it pertains to my dilemma. Thank you I will try that site out for me. I have Kaiser Premenete and they are of no help at all. Also my friend whom is avid person on this site and his wife both have always thought I might have autism. I just always did not see it. Then I met my step daughters bio mom whom has it and we kind of were on the same brain wave. It was odd for me because the last time I felt that way was with my friends daughter and husband and others whom have autism and I guess because I was an adult I put two and two together and realized hey maybe there is some odd connection here. Then I recently took this test, Autism-Spectrum Quotient and got a 40. So then I wanted to come here and hope for some advice and help. The only person I know with it now is my step daughters mother whom lives in KS and is busy and my friend and her husband whom come on here but they are very busy with their own lifes and I do not wish to imposed on them. So I am sorry if I imposed on you all too. Guess I will look else where for advice.

doesn't Kaiser have any neuropsychologists in their network? I had quite a time figuring out what kind of specialist I was supposed to see. it usually takes a while to get in, but I'd ask your regular doc about seeing a neuropsychologist and perhaps your doc can help you find one.
