My dad just now when I was trying to help my nephew hold a Ziploc bag open said He can do it hisself or he'll never learn! Then he asked when his father's birthday was I he asked today I said I think so he said I don't want you to think but know! IMO he was rude and I was almost in tears so I came to my room to WP LOL! IMO I took his response as rude what are your thoughts? (IMO he said it harshly and I'm real touchy today for some reason.) :-)

My father could be like that. I think he's just feeling generally overwhelmed and stressed and thinks snapping at people is an acceptable way to blow off steam.

No-one's perfect. But kids assume that of their parents.

I assume he usually does act kind and friendly, so this is "new' for him.

Just assume he's stressed out. When you start becoming an adult, you begin to realize your paren't aren't all-powerful and all-knowing, but that doesn't have to make them incompetents:P Believe me, I made that mistake, heh. Just give your parents room to be themselves. In all honesty, it's not your problem:P Unless they insult ya or harm ya out of personal feelings. Then they've crossed the line.

Good luck. Yer dad will cool off.

Yea.. I do. It's because I know I really am inferior to everyone else, so it hurts all the more when people point it out.

I used to believe that. It's nothing but a banquet of BS. You're not inferior and you're not superior; you're a human being; nothing more, nothing less.

I get set off so easily. My mother says that sometimes I can be very hard to live with because of it.
