So I talked to the guy who did my assessment today and he was asking me about some of the symptoms of AS in the DSM; it turns out, I display all but the repetitive behaviors and interests listed. The only confusing part is that I used to move my hands alot when listening to music or bored, and was obsessed with ninja and martial arts until I was about 19 or so (actually I still move my hands and arms but not nearly as much). So what do you guys think; NLD or AS and why?

AS - I think those two additional things you mentioned say you fit the criteria well. Also, you could argue that an AS diagnosis takes care of both, because many think the presence NLD can itself be a symptom of AS. If that makes any sense.

AS, grown up. People mature, y'know; you'll lose some of the hindrances as you get older. Kids considered severely disabled grow up to be independent; kids considered seriously weird grow up to be mildly eccentric. You're not always going to be the way you are now. Autistics grow up, too.
