Would Autism be the cause of this?

I am really obsessive about numbers, and a lot of the time I won't do something if it has a certain number associated with it.
Anything that has a 5,0, has a pattern (like 33) or is even (though 6 is my least favourite even number) is fine. But odd numbers (except 5 and especially 13) drive me nuts. In math I'll be fine, but I can't have 3 pages on a report (I'll make it 2,4, or even 3.5) and I either take 11, 15, or 22 seconds while drinking at the water fountain. I don't have any compusions, so it's not OCD (I only have a few other symptoms that would work for the obsessive part of OCD, so I don't think I would get a diagnosis even if their was an Obsessive Disorder)
So could this be an Autism thing or something else?

My first thought is that it sounds very much like OCD, so I don't know.

I would say that not being able to have 3 pages on a report or always taking a particular amount of time at a water fountain does count as a compulsion. Having compulsions doesn't necessarily mean that you wash obsessively or fear germs or check things endlessly, like OCD is made out to be on tv.

The obsession is the numbers themselves (What you think of them), the compulsion is acting on the fact of what you think about the numbers. If it is making you act a certain way then it is the compulsion part of OCD. Like me, I like even numbers, so I touch things an even number of times. The "obsession" is the liking of even numbers, the "compulsion" is acting on it and doing things an even number of times, so yes it is OCD. My son (18 yrs) and I have taken medication for OCD for years, he has a higher dose than I do, because his seems to not respond as well to medicine, it is usually hereditary. There are a lot of people in my family with it. Some are on the autism spectrum, some are not. I hope this helps.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder are two different things; the latter is about cleanliness, germophobia, neatness, and so on, whereas the former is supposed to be about problems such as counting. However, it seems that many psychiatrists and psychologists are prone to misdiagnosing people when it comes to this area. Furthermore, the public in general tends to misunderstand it. The best idea might be to do a little research.

If I have it, it's really mild, because I don't always do this. I guess I should have clarified that. I tend to do it more when I'm stressed out.
Oh, when I make charts, all the sides have to be equal. And I have trouble doing sketches because I always want to make it a graph because it's more percise. I can't stand estimating either, though I've learned to deal with that because you have to estimate when you use the quadratic formula.
