When we finish a milk carton or an orange juice carton, I always flatten and fold the carton up into a small square and THEN screw the platic top back on to keep the air out and make sure that the carton takes up minimum space in the garbage bag.

I tear up paper instead of scrunching it up, for the same reason.

and toilet roll.....................the paper HAS to be on the outside and NOT against the wall........

How about you?

 I hate when toilet rolls are facing the wrong way!

I flatten all boxes except for the largest one, into which I stuff all the other ones until no more can possibly fit and then I force one or two more in. My recycle bin needs to be efficient and tidy.

The toilet paper has to be OVER THE TOP, not under the bottom.

I hate dealing with empty milk cartons, because I don't want to get my hands wet.

Sadly the milk here comes in plastic bottles now so I cant do that, but anything else, I fold up as small as it will go, and I am sure it is an OCD thing. I am trying to stop myself doing it. Toilet paper, it mustnt be hanging down, I hate that, but I am kinda wasteful anyway with toilet paper as I scrunch it up into big balls rather than use it as sheets... jeez, am I really talking about this? 8O

Interesting :!:

With paper money, ALL of the notes/bills HAVE to face the same way.

I even know NTs that do that

Anyone else :?:

It fits in the trash more efficiently when folded.

I fold/crush plastic gallon jugs as flat as possible, but then I cannot always get the lids screwed back on. Oh, and I rinse them out first so they will not stink at the recycler and since I cannot stand the thought of any milk being wasted into the trash bin!

no. I rip the plastic collar out, stomp it flat with my foot, and then put it in the recycle bin.

I fill the empty carton with hot water about halfway and then dump it; immediately I step on it ,and it flattens nicely do to the softened plastic.

It then fits like a folder in a file cabinet .

I was forced to do that as a kid. Hated it - the smell, sound, feel is just horrible  I'd sneak out with the unfolded cartons while my parents weren't looking and throw them in the trash, just so I wouldn't have to fold them.
