Funny thing happen today.

Sadly my father went to a funeral today. Well we saw him later at SAMS Club (a store in the U.S) and my little sister (who went with him) was eating some cake I said well that's weird having a cake and something somber. my dad busted out laughing and said he got the cake samples from the store and had been walking around for awhile before me/mom/other little sister got there LOL! Just wanted to share the story I thought it seemed silly after the fact. Oh the joys of Aspiehood.

I don't get it. What was aspie there?

They usually have edibles at a get together after the funeral. I think the idea is to celebrate the person's passing into Heaven but I think it's mostly an excuse to spend time with distant relatives.

Every funeral I've ever been to had refreshments afterwards.
