I noticed taht most members here are Aspies , autistics and NT parents but there 's also members just NT in WP ,
I was wondering about the just NTs who doesn't have an autistic family member , Why you joined WP ? Any specific reason?

The snazy clothing.

And modern solutions for daily worrying.

Perhaps they're writers researching characters for their stories, or maybe actors researching their roles in their next movie? I dunno, I'm just throwing it out there.

P.S. If you want to make a movie about my life, the bidding starts at $20 million.

Well you never know, maybe they suspect a family member has AS or a friend has it and simply want to learn about it. The fact that they are here to learn about it is something that I find encouraging as most people don't bother or are ignorant to what AS is. So I say that instead of questioning why they are here, just welcome them.

Not that i'm lecturing anybody, but aspies and auties aren't the only people with curiosity. We just usually make NT's look like unquestioning drones by comparison.

Maybe there here to pull socially dysfunctional chicks

There is definately an educational value about this community for anybody that cares to take a look, be they AS-autistic or an NT that wants to find out more about the Aspies' perspective.

OTOH if there are any viewers of this discussion board who have malignent intentions, then the onus is on ourselves to reiforce our personal boundaries. I did mention something like this before in another thread.

There is some risk involved for anybody that decides they want to post on this or any discussion board for any reason but it seems to me it would quickly get noticed. I've seen a few mentions of the WP site getting hacked.

Other than that, I'm not worried about any dangers there may be stemming from my corresponding with WP.
