It seems like "microplush" is really "in" right now, and this is a great thing for me. It's so soft and comforting. I have two blankets and a zip-up jacket, and today I bought a big fluffy housecoat made out of it. My husband has a couple of really soft shirts that are kind of the same meterial, and I can't keep my hands off him when he wears one. ;)

This is not the same thing as "microfleece," which is just glorified sweatpants material. Microplush is a godsend!

Oh yeah, my therapist works with all ages, so she has a lot of toys and stuffed animals in her room for the kids. She has a stuffed microplush seal, and I love to hold it during sessions.

Does anyone else enjoy this wonderful fabric as much as I do???

i'm not sure, but i think my red housecoat/robe is made of microplush. yes, i love it. now, those microfiber towels, on the other hand, no. just lightly running your fingertips over it catches a myriad of snags on your fingers you didn't even know were there. hate.

OHMYGOD, i love microplush! Where i work we've been selling a lot of microplush blankets lately... Then after awhile of petting them every time i walked by i bought one, then bought two more the next day. It's so sofffffft.... But, yeah, they usually have it right beside that microfleece stuff, and i really don't like microfleece very much, well, it's hard to say how i feel about it. It's soft... but it's one of those materials that i still don't really like to feel very much, but i don't know why.. It's not horrible, but i'd rather not have it as a blanket.
