Not a symptom or problem, just a strange sensory thing

So I'm "hypervisual" in that I'm really sensitive to light, yet, I LOVE harsh contrast, like black on white or blue on red. I can sit and stare for ages at a red and blue surface...it seems to put something right in me. Like something in my head is "dislocated" and the visual stimulation puts it back in place..??

I know what you mean. My skin is hypersensitive, but there are quite a few times when it doesn't bother me at all and I like it 8).

Yeah, im betting a lot of us have something we're really sensitive to, but under certain conditions its pleasant. Im sensitive to light (sometimes to color) so while car lights at night hurt my eyes, sequences of them at a time are almost hypnotic (not a safe situation, but similar effect). Kinda like a form of mental high is what we get (what im calling it anyway). Kinda cool that we can do this without using drugs  .
