Sure, I was obsessed once with the Balloon pens by Lamy (see this link). Every time I saw one I had to buy it. Eventually I bought about 25, at 10 euro a piece. Ouch, expensive hobby.

Then I became obsessed with the idea that they might go out of production, so I bought every single box of spare ink cartridges I could lay my hands on. Well, at least I don't have to buy a pen for the rest of my life.

Yes!! But those obessesion are usually fix on people and last a few weeks.

Recently I had a MAD obession with Bill Gates and I would just sit around on the internet and look at pictures of Bill! Some friends of mine call me "Melinda Gates" now.

Right now I have an obsession with HAL 9000 and David Bowman!! !
