The only time that I'm really talking, is when I'm with my closest friends. I literally develope a severe case of verbal diaharea around them.

The rest of the time, I hardly say anything at all. I just sit there on a computer, in the corner on WP, with YouTube playing in the background, or in a room with a few people, but with my headphones on, listening to my portable CD player.

I'm also the most quietest and laid back member of my family. I say a few things, for 10 minutes, and than I'm off on one of the black couches, with my netbook and my music. I've even told my mum that I was having a hard time finding something to talk about, or that it's all been said, before meaning my obsessions and even the one that's recently returned. My parents know what I like. I don't have to repeatedly talk about my favourite group and songs of theirs that I like.

Maybe the next time I visit my parents, they'll actually ask me about my special interests, because of what I told my mum about "it all being said" yesterday.

Something I notice over the holiday is I actually walk away from people in conversations. If it weren't for my husband telling me my mom was still talking, I would have never known. I asked him if I had done this couple other times too and he said I did it couple other times. I asked him why didn't he ever tell me and he said he didn't want to upset me. I asked him why would that upset me and he said people don't like having their flaws pointed out. I told him next time I do this, just tell me.
Now I have something to be aware of and keep my eye out for and pay close attention. Who knows how often I do this.

I hope I don't find other hidden aspie traits I have or still have
