There have been posts about Psychologist etc. not helping you with your issues so I was curious any stories of the opposite as in someone helping you? and what advice did they give? IMO after watching It's Me or the Dog IMO I need dog training LOL! Someone to show me wrong & right behavior talking to me and showing me etc. and perhaps be more positive towards me would help. :-)

A psychologist I was talking to said she recommends Eastern martial arts to many of her patients. I would agree with that because Aikido helped me.

First with physical clumsiness/inability to stand and walk naturally, but then its movements were able to reprogram parts of my brain to deal with incoming stimula in a more fluid, spontaneous fashion.

Stimula such as other people, their mannerisms, conversation, maneuvering in crowds. Tolerating other people's physical presence up close. Things like that.
