goals of scientific interests?

Hi there,

i like being a scientist, i dont know if i will be able to stay in acadamia or if i have to do it in my free time. But anyhow, i have lots of scientific interests (math, psychology, philosophy), and i don|t know which i should focus on, it seems as if i do everthing abit, but not seriously enough.

Furthermore, i think family is very important to me, i think the most important thing. But besides that, i certainly will also have some time for spending it on my scientific interests, or? If so, what to do there?

I wonder what would make me happy at the end of my life, what must i have been done. Will some new inventions make me happy then? In which field should i invent something that i get happy?

I don|t know. Anyone else who thought about things like that?
