I bought the book, the handbook rather, on recommendation of a group therapist in 2006.
I never read it.
I bought the book, the original book that is, on the recommendation of a crisis therapist, two months ago. I haven't read it. It's collecting dust.
Basically, the book describes the premise and execution of CBT. Which might work for you but it doesn't work for me. I respond better to DBT and one-on-one.
