I was out with my job coach and this other guy well she mention driving out to the College I suggested her to take me home but she said there might be an oppurtunity at the College (I played my Ipod all the way there not caring about car sickness I always get) I was crying/whipping snot on my jacket. When we got there I was balling my eyes out. I told her it brought up too many bad memories and she said she'd go in and talk for me I said fine. As with most MAJOR meltdowns for anyone with AS I'm now drained and tired LOL! I don't DARE tell my parents since they think I should of gotten over the College "issue" years ago sadly obviously that's not the case. I'm glad I can vent on WP and to strangers while YES you ARE strangers alot of you seem to care and give helpful advice.

Thank You members of WP!! !!

I will neber get over being abused by
Miss Behan back in Skelley school,
even if I stabbed her hand with a compass
whilst she tried to abuse me.

I had meltdowns like this before,
except it was at mcdonalds because
a bad customer was mean to me and
made me thro a hamburger.

I used to have meltdowns like this often before school at a time where I hated it (I was undiagnosed and seen as a trouble maker, I like school now) and I used to beg my mum not to make me go and when I was nearly at the door all my emotions would be released uncontrollably. Screaming and crying etc. I also felt a lot of panic and had to sleep after because it made me so tired.

It has just occurred to me that I have different 2 types of meltdowns. One type like I described above and the other where I go into a rage and get quite destructive. Then there's shutting down where I withdraw completely.
