In the days leading up to the NT day I would arrange job interviews for jobs which don't require NT skills, except for the interview. (Thanks for the idea Blindspot149.)

I'd throw a wild party with about 10 + other people I barely know and chat lads up and all sort of things. And I would talk to everyone I never got the chance to in college.

Then wake up next day like "WTF just happened?" then carry on my life as usual hopefully keeping the friends I made the day before.

I don't have things I feel I can't do that I would be able to if I didn't have Asperger's. Occasionally I'll be annoyed with my inability to do something, but I don't remember them.

I'd do something spontaneous. I usually hate change especially when it comes to going to new locations. If I had one chance to travel somewhere with little to no planning I'd do it.

Or I would apply for a job and move into a share house in the city (all in this one day mind), and hopefully by the time the NT-ness wore off I'd be known as a good employee and social housemate. Then people would see a change in me and would think my sudden behavioral change was due to a bad relationship or death in the family. Instead of being fired I'd be sent to a counselor and instead of being kicked out of the house my housemates would be genuinely concerned about me.

I really am thinking too much about this.

It's impossible to make loads of friends in a day but maybe for that day I could try. I think it would be cool to have lots of friends and even be chatty sometimes. I'd love to know what it's like without all the sensory stuff, and to be relatively comfortable in social situations. Just for one day to know what it's like to be on the inside in any group instead of always on the outside sort of looking on. I can't even imagine really.

WOW what would that be like?

First reactions is slower. The mind slower.
2nd reaction was how do you achieve this (be hangova?)
3rd was are they that slow or more simple.

sometimes simple is better.

I would sit at home and cry because I would feel weird and very uncomfortable.

I would not want to be "NT for a day." I am happy with who I am.

I'd be NT for a day to see what it's like, other than that, I don't know what I'd do!

Yes I would, just for one day. I would probably spend it actually conversing with my clients and not playing online poker in the office.

Let's see...I wake up and I (NT today) think of having some fun tonight (ofcourse I choose the saturday, instead of today/tomorrow), so I check my friends list...right....ok, so I contact the few friends on there and ask for other classmates' contact info and invite the bunch to a party.

But before that I dress up (after seeing that there isn't much choice) and go shopping for some "cool" clothes, due to the great need of them, having the party in mind.

The party might result in me getting a girlfriend( :P ), so we get along a bit, but that stops at 0:00...when I find myself with a girl...and becuase NT's always plan things I absolutely now what to do next :? .

All in all: 1. shocked by clothing choices, 2. spending tiem shopping 3. relaxing, blablabla, tell friends about the shock, etc. 4. party, super fun etc. 5. confused due to being an aspie again (saved, just in time  ).

It would be quite fun, but I really need to develop some more planning upon becoming an NT or I'll be confused 8O . The memories are worthwhile though (I mean...NT's aren't THAT forgetfull, are they?).

NT for a day... Sounds like a trip to me. I suppose just enjoy the sensations and experiences, and hope they lead to insights later.

Personally, I think it might be a bit overwhelming. I do often feel sorry for the NT folk I know, it seems they are constantly awash in strong waves of emotion. There are a few things that move me strongly, and I can imagine how hard it would be to be that affected by so much more. Scary.

NT's don't mind, so you can go all out on that day  . (stereotype, I know)
