I'm thinking about going to the doctor to get medicine to stop my tics.

Does anyone know a good medicine for this?
I am currently on Citalopram to calm my anxiety and it makes my tics even worse.

Thank you in advance for your help.

My wife takes Haloperidol for Tourettes and it works very well, Risperidone was useless.

this article may help

Quote:
For
individuals with mild to moderate tics, specific medications effective for tic reduction include
clonidine (Catapres) or guanfacine (Tenex). For individuals with moderate to severe tics, the
newer atypical neuroleptics such as risperidone (Risperdal) or older traditional neuroleptics such
as haloperidol (Haldol) may be indicated.

I've used Tenex and did very well on it, although it made me a bit tired.
