Question if BIF is a form of ID
I wander if borderline intellectual functioning is a form of Intellectual Disability ( that I have myself ).
I get confused because some people say that borderline intellectual functioning is not Intellectual Disability, but borderline intellectual functioning effects your IQ score and I don't see any difference between them.
I just think borderline intellectual functioning as a very mild form of Intellectual Disability.
Dont know squat about it, because I have never seen nor heard the term before. But the name of the condition is "borderline intellectual functioning", so it must mean that you can barely operate intellectually on the level of a normal person (ie that you are on "the border" between normal and non normal). So I suppose you are right that, by definition, it is a mild form of intellectual disability.
