I would not say it is ok to hate yourself.
I would say that it can be understandable for a variety of reasons (I have no idea about you, so, speaking in very vague generalities). And, you are not the only person with self esteem issues here or in the world.
But I cannot think of a time that self hatred would be good.

Please don't. Most everybody is deserving of love and respect from everyone, including themselves. I used to seriously hate myself, but I've worked very hard to improve my self esteem. It's one of the best things you can do for yourself, in my opinion, and I hope you pursue better self esteem.

I think it is important to be honest to yourself about your feelings and be willing to see the problems feelings like hating yourself can cause. I hate myself plenty of times.
