Surprisingly Jenny McCarthy is not on this list so the legitness of this is debatable.

I thought it was pretty interesting though...

Even more interesting is that half of those people consist of celebrities I absolutely hate! ha!

Your thoughts?

I was disappointed by some of the names I saw on this list, but I try to kep in mind that most of these people aren't aware of the darker side of Autism Speaks. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt at this point, and telling myself they're just misguided. They don't know what the organizaation is *really* about. They need some education on the issue.

I'm shocked that Jerry Seinfeld supports them.
I mean, Larry David always seems autistic himself - his wife's actress even said she was instructed not to touch him in the audition...

I would say that it would be fun if he would team up with us, but people think he's a sociopath, so we'll leave it
(Just because they don't understand him, I think)

I believe many of those people appeared on a Comedy Central benefit for Autism Speaks last year. I am unaware if they had more to do with it than that.

I will not look to the stars. We should get Ray Davies on our side.

Wonder what the chances are of them listening to us if we sent letters/e-mails?

Yoko Ono seems to believe the 'empty shell' theory.

most people don't realize how despised Autism Speaks is by the people with Autism themselves. they simply think they're supporting a worthy cause. Probably have good intentions.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

They should've done some research and actually verrify the oppinions of those with Autism before officially lending support to an organisation.
