Ok so I got my probationary licence later in life at 28.5 years old we have a graduated licence system here and for three years I am required to follow the rules below. I am not over halfway through my period and very glad about that the day I got my licence was the proudest day of my life. I will be 31 years old qet I get a full licence.

* always drive with a zero BAC (.05 for full licence)
* always display green P plates on front and back of any car driven
* carry licence with you whenever you drive
* only drive an automatic vehicle
* five or more demerit points in any 12 month period may result in your licence being suspended (12 for full licence)
*not permitted to drive a high powered vehicle which has an eight or more cylinder engine, is turbocharged or supercharged, is a nominated high performance six-cylinder vehicle, or has been modified to increase performance
