Reasons i could possibly be an aspie is?

1 - I have weird obsessions that goes on and on. ie dynasty warriors and
2 - I dont know if hands flapping counts out of over excitement?
3 - I never fitted in groups back when i was at school and was bullied.
4 - I speak a little weird and not make sense occassionally.
5 - I find some social situations quite stressful
6 - Small changes seem to irritate me

would you call that an aspie or what?

I have similar questions. I used to not really care if I was or not, since I had a nice thing going on (my routines, my small "support system" close by, time to indulge my obsessions) but some huge life changes in the last couple years have caused my life to turn upside down: we moved hours away from the few people I did know and we recently became parents. I absolutely LOVE my son and feel proud to be his mom, but I am not coping with the day to day functioning stuff well at all. I want to make sure I can take care of him AND stay sane/take care of myself.

Anyway, I guess my point is that if a diagnosis wouldn't help you much (your life is fairly pleasant, you are functioning well in general) then I wouldn't worry about it too much. But if you aren't functioning well, maybe need help (like in school or something, maybe you need access to official help or something only a Dx would give you) Then I would see a dr for testing. Hard to tell. I don't diagnose over a few traits. You can also look at the DSM criteria for Asperger's.

I wouldn't call you an aspie. I would just say you have a few quirks.

Dynasty Warriors is this awesome game made by KOEI based on the Han Dynasty.

It is a strategy based game and I like to also point out that I love Dynasty Warriors... Probably more than anybody else on WP.
Finally it is SOOO cool to know somebody with the same interests, this rare and now I don't feel like I'm alone..

May, you could possibly have it or might have some traits, I would highly recommend getting checked by the GP and they could at refer you to a place like Maudsley for to get a diagnosis.

Even try a couple of the more widely accepted web tests just to get a general idea.

Also get a list of Aspie manifestations but don't show what it is to a friend or relative and ask them to check how many sound like you.

I did this with my wife just as a double check and she read it over looked up at me and said "Did you write this?" I knew right then there was no question.

And definitely talk to your GP.

Is that like Samurai ?- They were so cool. Love their art and poetry. Maybe Dynasty Warriors are architypes, you know semi- fictionalized/ mythologized characters we use to explain our states of mind to ourselves? Those guys were ice cubes when it suited them, yet they could condense a thousand years of their history using only a grasshopper and an empty warriors helmet, and make you feel it.

Come to think of it how the hell do some obscure guys in rural Japan end up being discussed by online Aspis , three centuries later?

Yes, it is like Samurai Warriors but the difference is its based on the Chinese Han Dynasty... Three main kingdoms Wu, Wei and Shu followed by the ultimate Lu Bu which he looks and is very difficult to beat the guy.

Some of the names in Samurai and Dynasty Warriors are ACTUALLY based on real people like Cao Cao for example.

I'm still surprised we are talking about stuff like that today, but it might not exactly be how the story is.
