hi there all,

I've really been noticing lately that one of the reasons being around people can make me so physically tired is my brain does constant uncontrollable surveys of everything I encounter.

In particular, I observe people who walk past in a 'survey' kind of way, almost like a female non-british David Attenborough.

I am quite visual I guess and people have such interesting faces, and features.

However, I get tired and headachey from this. I've just started having to walk through a lot of crowds, recently, and I'm finding my curious mind a problem.

Just wondering.. whether anyone else has this trouble?

I would call that hypervigilance, which is part of anxiety in the situation. I become hugely attentive to detail in a crowd and lose concentration for what I am supposed to be doing. I am particularly conscious of everything that is behind me. I have had bad panic attacks with it.

There is definitely a market for you. I love David Attenborough productions, especially the older field studies that had no computer-simulation and no special effects.

i have a different sort of issue with crowds, I cant block out off all noise, which means that god awful chatter everyone does. So thus I get all irritable and stuff...
